Q4 linkedin content & marketing plan for b2b saas copywriter

Simple Q4 LinkedIn content Plan For Awesome copywriters

Consistency…actually sucks☹️

If you miss one day, everything can come crashing down.

Five weeks ago, that was the case for me & my LinkedIn content.

I was burnt out from content creation and humoring leads on calls, and prepping for school.

Although I spent Jan-Aug creating content and saw results: more leads, bigger brand authority, better reach on my posts…all the usual results…

Every day I saw some kinda trend, marketing tip, shameless shady promotion, spam email, or outdated marketing practice from 2021 I should stop…and it was too much for my student brain to handle😔😩.

So I just decided to drop everything and rest. I needed to reconnect with my vision for my business and myself because I started to replicate things from other creators.

If I make content about creating unique content and writing custom copy that attracts your ideal client/tribe, I should also demonstrate that in my marketing & copy.

In fact, I’ve already started prepping for my rebrand & biz refresh.

📌I’m sharing the BTS/process with my email list, so if you’re interested in the strategies, resources, and assets I’ll use & create, feel free to join using this link.

Last week, I released all my old content pieces I didn’t get to batch.

Process & results: I sent out 5-7 content pieces last week and got 1900+ post impressions, and a few followers. Good to know that my posts still reach peeps in my audience.

Now I’ll share how I stayed consistent in the first place and how I’ll be moving forward in Q4 (the online biz industry has changed again, gotta keep up🏃🏽♀️)

Here’s the ONE shift I made to stay consistent on LinkedIn ⬇️

Content batching with a strategy.🦆🔥

Notice that I said, “with a strategy”?

I don’t just type a couple of random posts and expect them to perform well.

I use my personal framework for creating & distributing my LinkedIn content. I only share it in detail with my Clarity Session students, but I’ll give you a bird’s eye view of how I do things.

The batching helps me connect with my audience & appease the algorithm committee😂

Here’s how I’ve been doing it since 2021:

1️⃣ Content Days

I pick a day (or days) to create multiple pieces of content and schedule them all through the week.

I post when I want to but I batch the important content first.

2️⃣ Follow my custom Content Strategy

I need content days so I stay focused and follow my strategy 😂

I mix and match relationship-building content, educational content, and sales content.

I also use custom content prompts from my Clarity Session implementation doc and create content based on those ideas.

3️⃣ Schedule on Publer

Lastly, I simply upload my content to Publer and schedule my posts.

That way, you still see me on your feed even if I’m not online that day.

✅ My ideal client can see how I can help them pinpoint their messaging & improve conversions on their emails & landing pages.

✅ My awesome audience doesn’t forget about me and can engage with my latest content.

✅ I’m building my authority in the B2B copywriting/marketing space & getting in front of like-minded marketers.

It’s especially important when I spend most of my day in the classroom or completing assignments.

4️⃣ Measure Performance & Engagement

At the end of the day and the end of the week, I see how my content pieces performed using Publer’s Analytics feature.

If the content didn’t perform well then I look at the hook, readability, and content.

And I try again.

Rinse and repeat. 🔁 And it does get results.

👉🏽 I used this same tactic on Pinterest in July and my monthly views grew from 74 to 243 in three weeks – with just 5 Pins. No engagement. And I deleted all my old content.

👉🏽 I did this every month on LinkedIn → New leads, new followers in my community, more brand trust & authority.

How I’m moving forward with my LinkedIn Content in Q4 2022

  1. I’m going to settle on three main marketing channels: a social media channel (LinkedIn content) where I consistently post/engage with leads, an SEO channel (Blog) where I can drive traffic to my website/offers, and my owned channel (Email List) where I consistently nurture my audience.
  2. Focusing on 1-2 long-form content pieces every week vs. multiple short posts.
  3. REPURPOSING the long-form content into shorter pieces and distributing them across my platforms.
  4. Content batching still stays!

I still love content creation, but I want to spend less time on social, and more time with my audience in my email list, and my copywriting clients.

See ya in October 👋🏽✈️
