A project’s duration depends on the amount of research we need to do to resonate with your users. That said, it takes anywhere from 4-12 weeks to publish your new emails, plus an extra 90 days to test their performance. 

If you have to pause the project, or push back on the start date, I will only continue when we’ve settled on a starting date. If you wish to cancel at that time, I will not return the non-refundable deposit. 

Only 4-5 calls throughout the project! You’d only be needed on our kickoff call, messaging recommendations call, first copy draft, and our project debrief. You can also email or Slack me for any suggestions, questions, or updates.

With more data, I can capture specific desires, pains, and use cases to make your product stand out – using your users’ words.

You’ll see better results and get stronger emails if you have at least two of the following:

• In-app user feedback
• Customer reviews
• Past customer interviews from the last 6 months (with transcripts if available)
• Your brand voice guidelines
• Your messaging hierarchy document
• Average open rate and click rate for your journey in the previous 3 months
• Paid conversion rate for your journey from the last 3 or 6 months

If you’re an early-stage startup with a few customers, you might not have much data I can use.

During the project, I’ll create your Message Map to define how your audience talks, how they make buying decisions, and what to include in your emails to convert them.

However, if you already have research documents or analytics data, share them with me during the project to speed things up.
